Do i need my provisional driving licence before I can have lessons?

Before you begin your driving lessons at a driving school, it is essential to have your provisional driving licence ready. In the UK, instructors are required to see your provisional licence on your first lesson, as it verifies that you are legally entitled to learn how to drive. Make sure to bring it along to your initial session, as this is a crucial step in your learning journey. Without it, you may not be able to start your lessons, so ensure you have it in hand to make the most of your experience.

Can i take test in my car?

When considering the car to use for your driving test, it's important to know that there is a very limited list of vehicles that are not permitted. You can find this restricted list on the official driving school website. Ideally, you should choose a car that you feel most comfortable driving, as familiarity with the vehicle can greatly enhance your performance during the test. Remember, confidence in your driving skills is key, so pick a car that allows you to feel at ease.
